Does anyone have a similar situation in which they found a solution for this ? I did read about Resilio sync stories ( ) but when I access the folder as specified in the link I cannot find any attachments in the folder. Also when i annotate my files I use liquid text, which makes a new file where i have to attach this new file to the parent item each time im finished annotating it and then delete the original as the liquid text does not annotate the original file and zotfile only allows “get from tablet” based on the original file chosen. I use the iPad to read and annotate my books/journal articles then sync it back to zotfile, but the annotated file is saved as a new file. My Zotero library is over 20GB of information/files books and Im trying to find an efficient solution to establish a workflow between my Computer and iPad. Furthermore, using cloud sync or any other syncing solution (including zotero’s file sync) that requires internet data is out of the question since Im a student and on a capped student data plan with limited data. Save. Open in Office 365 web.Ive been trying to establish a workflow between my Windows 10 computer and iPad using resilio sync and Zotfile, but it does unfortunately not work very efficiently as the files saved to Zotfile(send to tablet) are not registered on Zotero (when you have a file on iPad that you want to add to Zotero on Windows) and has to copied to zotero manually. Option 2: Store document on OneDrive. Edit the document locally, add citations etc using the desktop Word app. Changes should automatically be reflected on the web version (refresh might be needed.) Choose "Open in Desktop App" option to add citations etc. Option 1: Start the document on Office 365 online. Users will need the desktop version of the Word app as well. Can I use Zotero to collaborate with others on Office 365 online? It may be necessary to manually install the Word plug-in. Troubleshooting tips can be found in the Zotero documentation. The Zotero tab does not appear in Word for Mac. See instructions for creating multiple Zotero profiles 6. Can we have multiple Zotero accounts on one computer? I share a computer (e.g., at home with my partner). However, you do need patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to experiment. You do not have to be formally trained in computer coding to make small modifications to an existing style as there are some helpful tools and documentation. To create the style yourself, follow the directions on the documentation pages for editing CSL styles. However, as the documentation page on citation styles notes, you can request a style as an alternative route. Yes, but only if you are willing to work with some basic coding modification of the Citation Style Language. I don't see the citation style I need in the Zotero Style Repository. Keep in mind that Zotero does offer the Notes attachment, where you can jot down whatever you need and copy and paste relevant quotes. You can also sync Zotero with Mendeley, another citation management program that does allow for PDF note taking. However, you can use Zotero with a PDF reader that allows markups. Can I take notes on the PDF files stored in my Zotero library? See Endnote to Zotero instructions or Mendeley to Zotero instructions 3. Can I export citations from EndNote into Zotero or from Mendeley into Zotero? Stored files are copied onto your server space, sync, are accessible from any computer, and can be shared in group libraries (and take up storage space). The caveat is that they do not sync (not accessible from multiple computers) and are not shareable in group libraries. This is the difference between "linked files" and "stored files." Linked files create a path to a file stored on your computer. You can maximize your storage space by disabling automatic attachments (see the recommended set up instructions for further information) and/or by linking to files stored on your hard drive instead of storing files on the server. Storage plans and pricing are available at. How much free storage space does my account give me?
